ACTIVATED CARBON ADSORBER AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an activated carbon adsorber which can be manufactured inexpensively despite a decrease in pressure loss when a gas to be treated is passed without a decrease in adsorption removal efficiency of an object treatment substance.

SOLUTION: The activated carbon adsorber is disposed in passages 1 and 2 for the gas G to be treated, and adsorbs and removes the object treatment substance from the gas G. Net-like tube bodies 4 packed with granular activated carbon 5 are arranged in a casing 3 disposed in the passages 1 and 2 in parallel with each other in a plane in which the axis P intersects the gas flowing direction, and arranged in a plurality of rows in the flowing direction.
