A method for repairing or renewing cooling apertures (5) involves removing at least one old lamination (3,4) from the outer face of the component (1), in which the cooling aperture, after removal of the old lamination, has at least in one longitudinal section (11) an old cross-section (13), which is greater than a desired cross-section (6) which the cooling aperture has in an original new state of the manufactured component in its longitudinal section (11). An independent claim is included for a laminated component of a gas turbine.
