APPARATUS FOR BINDING STRAP SUPPLY

An apparatus for binding strap supply is provided to enable continual supply of straps to a packaging binder by activating another strap roller instead of a deactivated strap roller with a plurality of strap rollers and a motor that provides torque to the strap rollers, so that a continual strap supply can be achieved without causing stoppage of production line due to replacement of new straps. An apparatus(100) for binding strap supply comprises a base frame(20), a pair of strap rollers(30), a motor(40) and a conversion control unit. The strap rollers are disposed above the base frame, rotatable to unwind a strap(32) wound around the outer periphery. The motor supplies driving force against the rotation of the strap rollers. The conversion control unit is capable of deactivating one rotating strap roller and allowing another deactivated strap roller to rotate. A continual strap supply to a packaging binder is achieved since another strap roller is activated by the conversion control unit, in case of deactivation of one strap roller which provides the strap to the packaging binder.
