<p>A burner designed to heat a filtration cartridge (5) for exhaust gases from an engine until oxidation and/or combustion of the solid particles trapped in the cartridge, including a burner body (2) presenting a closed extremity and, on the side opposite this closed extremity, an exhaust opening for said gases, characterised in that it includes: - at least an adduction pipe (7) of a mix of fuel and oxidiser opening into the burner body (2) tangentially to the burner body (2), in such a way as to cause the mixture to swirl around within the burner; - an electric means of igniting (8) said mixture positioned inside the burner body (2); - an obturator element (3, 18) blocking the burner body (2), to limit the turbulence of the exhaust gases in the volume of the burner body (2), restricted by said obturator element (3, 18).</p> |
