<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out direct search for a desired artist in a content providing server from a display screen showing a correlation between artists. <P>SOLUTION: When a selection is made respectively among music site icons 261-1 to 261-3 shown in the vicinities of a base point icon 251 and related icons 253-1 and 253-2, a retrieval request about a corresponding artist name is directly made to the content server 3. As a result, in an area showing a link map edition screen 201 for the artist, a retrieval result screen, in which a retrieval result of the artist in the content server 3 is shown by using the selected artist name as a retrieval key, is displayed.
