An ultrasonic transducer driving circuit and an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus are provided to reduce the size of a driver circuit in comparison with an active ground clamp circuit since the driver circuit is a logic circuit in which little current flows. An ultrasonic transducer driving circuit(10) includes a positive FET(Field Effect Transistor)(11P), a negative FET(11N), a positive driver circuit(12P), and a negative driver circuit(12N). The positive FET outputs positive voltage to an output line(W) of an ultrasonic transducer(E) in an on state. The negative FET outputs negative voltage to the output line of the ultrasonic transducer in an on state. The positive driver circuit drives the positive FET on the basis of a positive pulse signal(PP), a negative pulse signal(PN), and a positive threshold(THP) transmitted from a pulser unit, and return voltage(Vo) returned from the output line. The negative driver circuit drives the negative FET on the basis of the positive pulse signal, the negative pulse signal, a negative threshold(THN), and the return voltage.
