PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a gene, etc., induced and expressed in a plant under a strong light adaptation condition. SOLUTION: This gene induced and expressed in a plant under a strong light adaptation condition is obtained by isolating the gene which is induced to express in a cell of the plant when the following irradiation treatment is carried out to the plant having been in the radiation surface of the light having successive wavelength components within the 300-800 nm wavelength region and 60-100 μE/m<2> s light intensity at 15-38 deg.C: (1) irradiating the light having successive wavelength components within the 300-800 nm wavelength region and 300-700 μE/m<2> s light intensity at 15-38 deg.C for 1 hr to several days; (2) irradiating the light having successive wavelength components within the 350-560 nm wavelength region and 200-600 μE/m<2> s light intensity at 15-38 deg.C for several hours to several days; or (3) irradiation the light having successive wavelength components within the 300-800 nm wavelength region and 75-270 μE/m<2> s light intensity at 0-10 deg.C for several hours to several days. |
