PURPOSE:To permit a fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) tube to apply high accurate cutting by machine work, by cutting the FRP tube together with plastic resin, which reinforces both surface parts of a machined surface, thereafter exfoliating the plastic resin. CONSTITUTION:All the cut parts 2, 2a of a fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) tube 1 are reinforced being integrally and firmly held by a plastic resin layer 4 formed in a closely attached state to the FRP tube 1. A cut position is scribed by ruling on the plastic resin layer 4, and hole drilling or the like is performed by machine work in the cut parts of the FRP tube together with the plastic resin layer 4 by using a cutting tool. Accordingly, the FRP tube 1 is cut being placed in a condition that it is reinforced by the plastic resin layer 4, and high accurate machining can be performed with no generation of a burr or the like in an edged part of each cut part 2, 2a. After the above cutting is performed, the plastic resin layer 4 is peeled off. |
