FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of producing alumina astringents, which are used in composition of fireproof products, as well as building compositions sulphateproof and dilating cements. Method of obtaining alumina cement includes grinding of lime and aluminate components to fractions with size not more than 30 mcm, their dosage, introducing alumina cement additive, mixing, moistening, briquetting with further burning of obtained briquettes at temperature 1200-1250C and fine grinding of products of burning.
