<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a distance between right and left leg frames for placing the body of a user in a walking assist device used when an aged person or a handicapped person walks. <P>SOLUTION: The walking assist device 11 is equipped with: a pair of right and left leg frames 21, 21 having two front and rear leg parts 22, 23 which extend in the vertical direction and have upper end parts connected by a handle 24; a first connecting rod 32 for connecting the leg frames 21 at leg parts 22 in the front of the leg frames 21; and a second connecting rod 33 for connecting parts ahead of the handles 24 of the leg frames mutually. In the walking assist device 11, the first connecting rod 32 is equipped with a protruding part 36 and a hole part 37 for making a stepwise adjustment of a length, and the second connecting rod 33 is equipped with a lock member 33c for making a stepless adjustment of the length. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
