<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user with an access history to a document preserved in an image processing apparatus, by easy operation. <P>SOLUTION: A document ID is recorded in an operation history, and an operation ID and the document ID are recorded in a job history. A search in association with the job history or the operation history is allowed. An operation history record associated with a designated document record is read and added to a result list (S2104). Operation history records are read out one by one from the result list. If an associated document ID is found, it is added to a target document ID (S2109).
