摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the tendency of a catalyst having high stereospecific polymerization activity to give a polymer having a high molecular weight and to increase the amount of hydrogen necessary in the production of a high-molecular weight polyolefin causes an increased hydrogen consumption and an increased polymerization pressure and sometimes necessitates the increased pressure resistance of a polymerizer. SOLUTION: There is provided an olefin polymerization catalyst comprising a product by contact among a solid titanium catalyst component containing Mg, Ti, a halogen and an electron donor, an organometallic compound catalyst component and a compound having at least two ether bonds interrupted by a plurality atoms and an organosilicon compound represented by the formula: R<1> 2 Si(OR<2> )2 (wherein R<1> is a cyclic amino; an R<2> is a 1-10C hydrocarbon on group.
