PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic electric compressor capable of sufficiently reducing the content of oil of a refrigerant discharged from a hermetic vessel.SOLUTION: A hermetic electric compressor (scroll compressor S) includes: an inner wall 27 having an inner peripheral edge 26c where an insulator cover 28 is formed at a shaft side of a rotor, rising more in a direction separating from a stator from the inner peripheral edge 26c, and formed over the whole periphery of the inner peripheral edge 26c; a plurality of projection pieces 28 formed so as to rise from the inner peripheral edge 26c in a direction opposite to the rising direction of the inner wall 27; and ribs 29 disposed from the inner peripheral face 27a of the inner wall 27 to inner peripheral faces 28a of the projection pieces 28.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
