PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently drying a medium having an overlapping part, after an image has been formed on the medium.SOLUTION: When an image is formed on a printed object 111 having an overlapping part which is partially or fully overlapped by sewing of two fabrics 111a and 111b, a planar-state heat generation member 200 which can deform and bend, is included in the printed object 111 so as to be disposed on a back face side of an area where the image is formed, the heat generation member 200 is interposed into the overlapping part of the fabrics 111a and 111b, then, the printed object 111 containing the heat generation member 200 is held to an outer periphery of a holding drum, then, a recording head forms the image on the printed object. Then, power is fed to the heat generation member 200 for generating heat, thereby the fabric on which the image is formed of the printed object 111 is heated from inside, for drying an adhered liquid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
