MOORING PROCEDURE FOR SPORTS CRAFT AND DEVICE TO PUT THIS INTO PRACTICE

The procedure consists of raising the stern (2) of the moored craft (1), so that the tailpieces, propeller shafts, motor (3) and other metal components in this area are kept clear of the water and are not subjected to its corrosive effects. For this a pair of flo ats (4) are used, connected to each other by adjustable spacers fitted to the rear side areas of t he hull (1), attached to it by warps (11), so that the extent to which the floats (4) are inf lated determines the height by which the stern (2) of the boat is raised.
