The invention relates to a single-phase amorphous hydraulic binder that contains silicon atoms, calcium atoms and oxygen atoms in an arrangement that comprises silicate-structural units having an average degree of cross-linking of at least Q, wherein none or one part of the calcium atoms are replaced by a metal atom M[6]that is coordinated six-times with oxygen and/or none or at most 45 atom % of the silicon atoms are replaced by a metal atom M[4]that is tetrahedrally coordinated with oxygen; wherein the molar ratio [CaO+(x/2)∙(M[6]O)]:[SiO+M[4]O] has a value of between 0.2 and 1.5 and the binder has less than 3.5% in weight of HO. The invention further relates to methods for producing said binder by reaction grinding a starting material that contains silicate structural units having a degree of cross-linking of Qto Q, with a solid silicate raw material having a degree of cross-linking of the silicate structural units of Qto Qand optionally, drying the single-phase hydraulic binder until a water content of less than 3.5% in weight is reached. The invention also relates to a construction material that is produced by binding the binder with water and subsequently hardening it. |
