PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device that, when using a continuous resin film as a recording medium, can suppress warpage of the resin film occurring due to heat when fixing a toner image to a recording medium compared with a case of cooling a portion of the resin film where the image is fixed from an image surface side.SOLUTION: A heated fixing belt 54C and a pressure roll 56 hold and convey a film F to fix a toner image to the film F. In this case, the temperature of an image surface side of the film F may become higher than the temperature on a non-image surface side, and the film F may be warped. Cooling the film F from the non-image surface side, however, suppresses the warpage of the film F occurring due to the temperature on the image surface side of the film F becoming higher than the temperature on the non-image surface side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
