PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving image imaging apparatus, having a rotating optical element, and a moving image imaging method using the same apparatus, enabling execution of imaging a moving image in high satisfaction by dealing with an imaging idea of a user individually and flexibly.SOLUTION: A mode setting unit 150 sets either one of a polarization filter use permission mode which permits to image a moving image using a polarization filter 110 and a polarization filter use prohibition mode which prohibits to image a moving image using the polarization filter 110. A control unit 120 controls an insertion/retraction drive mechanism 104, a rotation drive mechanism 111 and a CCD 103 with different aspects, according to the setting of either the polarization filter use permission mode or the polarization filter use prohibition mode set by the mode setting unit 150. |
