The invention provides a push switch having high press-in tolerance. A push switch (100) has a housing (3) having a fixed contact member (4a) and a space portion (3a) used for containing an operational member (1) and a movable contact member, and a cover member used for covering a space portion. The push switch is formed in that the housing has a main body portion (4k) protruding backwards the inner-most portion (4e) of a space portion coming out of the fixed contact portion, the main body portion has an exsection portion (4m) which is opened from the end of a rear side to the front side, the fixed contact portion comprises a first fixed contact portion (4f) and a second fixed contact portion (4g), the first fixed contact portion has a central contact portion (4n) contacting with the movable contact portion (2) and an extending portion (4p) continuously extending to the periphery of the central contact portion through coming out from the inner-most portion, and the central contact portion is arranged in a position, corresponding to the main body portion, in the inner-most portion. |
