PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fat content measurement system that performs non-destructive, on-line and non-contact measurement of fat content in an edible portion of fish without disassembling the fish.SOLUTION: A fat content measurement system 1 applies non-contact optical measurement to a marine product and comprises: an optical measurement part 6 that obtains spectral data by emitting light including near-infrared light to the marine product and receiving and dispersing either one of the light passing through the marine product and the light diffusively reflected from the marine product; a storage part 7 that preliminarily stores a prescribed calibration curve model; a fat content calculation part 3B that retrieves the calibration curve model after applying prescribed preprocessing to the spectral data and calculates an estimate of fat content in the marine product from a relationship between the data after the preprocessing and the calibration curve model; and an outlet determination part 3C that determines an outlet for discharging the marine product, out of multiple outlets 10A to 10D, on the basis of the calculated estimate of fat content.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
