PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive unit for a vehicle having a cycloid reduction gear which is prevented in the enlargement of a rolling bearing for supporting a curved plate of a reduction part, and suppressed in heat generation.SOLUTION: In a motor drive unit for a vehicle in which a curved plate as a revolving member is rotatably supported to an eccentric part of a reduction gear input shaft via a rolling bearing 41, and the reduction input shaft is connected to a motor rotating shaft, the rolling bearing 41 comprises: an outside raceway surface 43 formed at the curved plate; an inside raceway surface 42a; an inner ring 42 having flange parts 42b at both ends of the inside raceway surface in an axial direction; and a cylindrical roller bearing 41 which is formed of a plurality of cylindrical rollers 44 arranged between the outside raceway surface and the inside raceway surface, and a cage 47 for holding the cylindrical rollers. The inner ring 42 is fit to an outside diameter face of the eccentric part of the reduction gear input shaft, and assembled therein, a clearance δ is formed between an inside diameter face 47d of the cage 47 and outside diameter faces 42d of the flange parts 42b, and the clearance δ is set at 0.20 mm or larger and 0.60 mm or smaller.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
