PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate an image that is free from distortion over a wide range with high resolution, by simple processing.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus 1 includes a plurality of imaging sections disposed at different places, and capturing a common subject, an image correcting section for generating a plurality of correction images by correcting the distortion of the images of the subject captured by the plurality of imaging sections, an image synthesis section for generating a composite image by superposing the plurality of correction images based on a predetermined reference point in each correction image, selecting one partial image for the partial images in a duplicate range, and arranging the partial images in a non-duplicating range as they are, and a display control section for controlling a display to display the composite image as the captured image of the subject.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
