PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly read an optical pattern, and to easily read the position of an optical pattern in a natural comfortable attitude. SOLUTION: One part of lights from an optical pattern are separated by an optical member, and a large part of lights are guided to a photodetector 3 without being separated, and received by the photodetector 30. Also, the separated lights are extracted at a position different from a reading part B by an optical member 4, and the separated lights can be used as lights for confirming visualization. Therefore, the separated lights are extracted at the opposite side to the optical pattern, and the position of the optical pattern can be easily confirmed in a comfortable attitude from the position at the opposite side to the optical pattern. |
