A message moving method and apparatus are disclosed in the present invention, wherein the method includes: allocating a Direct Memory Access (DMA) channel for a message according to the length of the message; and according to the DMA channel, moving the message to the memory corresponding to the DMA channel in a switch system. By the present invention, the problem of wasting large amount of memory resources in a switch system in related technology is solved, and furthermore, the packet receiving memory of CPU in the switch system is saved. |
