THE TAB LEAD CHROME-FREE SURFACE TREATED FOR SECONDARY BATTERIES AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

The present invention relates to a chrome-free surface treated tab lead for a secondary battery and a manufacturing method thereof. More particularly, the tab lead includes a metal terminal; a polymer layer sprayed on the surface of the metal terminal and an adhesive film which surrounds part of the polymer layer. The tap lead manufactured by a method for treating the surface of the tap lead using a chrome-free based marital according to the present invention improves adhesion strength with the polymer film, compared to a tap lead surface-treated by the chrome-free based marital. Thereby, the life of a battery can be greatly improved. Especially, a human-friendly and eco-friendly method using no chrome can be provided.
