PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium which is suitable for a high density recording using a semiconductor laser having an oscillating wavelength in short wavelength by a method wherein a basic coloring matter wherein a basic heterocyclic group and an aniline residue are bonded with a bonding chain, is contained. SOLUTION: This optical information recording medium has a recording layer containing a basic coloring matter wherein a basic heterocyclic group and an aniline residue are bonded with a bonding chain. Then, the basic heterocyclic group has a quaternary nitrogen atom. Also, the bonding chain is bonded to the location (p) of the aniline residue. This recording medium has a sufficient sensitivity and a reflectance for DVD-R using laser beams around 635 nm. |
