PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize a motive power loss, and to reduce size and weight by possessing four actuating elements by two simple planetary gear sets and three actuating elements by one simple planetray gear set, fixing/variably connecting them, and arranging a clutch and a brake means. SOLUTION: In a first planetary gear set 4, four actuating elements are set by a sun gear 10 and a ring gear 14 of first/second simple planetary gear sets 6 and 8, a ring gear 12 and a planetary carrier 16, a planetary carrier 26 and a sun gear 38, and in a second planetary gear set 18, three actuating elements are set by a sun gear 20, a planetary carrier 22 and a ring gear 24. The planetary carrier 26 is fixed/connected to a ring gear 24, and the ring gear 12 and the planetary carrier 26 are variably connected to the sun gear 20 and the planetary carrier 22 by first clutches 30 and 32. The clutch 30 and a brake 36 are actuated at an advance first speed, and are inputted through the sun gear 10 and the ring gear 14, and the planetary carrier 22 acts as a reaction element. Such constitution minimizes a motive power loss and reduces size and weight. |
