<p>1298151 Flotation agents for sulphide ores DOW CHEMICAL CO 13 Feb 1970 [13 Feb 1969] 7156/70 Heading B2H [Also in Division C2] Sulphide ores (e.g. those of Cu, Zn or Mo) in pulp form are subjected to flotation conditions in the presence of a flotation collector compound of the formula wherein R 1 is a C 1-10 alkylene group; R 2 is a hydrocarbyl group, other than an aryl group wherein an atom in the ring structure is directly bonded to Y; Y is S or O; A is either a radical of formula wherein R 3 is H or C 1-7 alkyl; R and R' are C 1-7 alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl or cycloalkenyl: X and X' are S or O; if X and X' are both O, R and R' may differ; if X and X' are both S, R and R' are identical; if X and X' differ, R and R' may differ; or, A is a radical of formula wherein X and X' are idependently O or S; R and R' are independently H or C 1-5 alkyl and R 3 is H or C 1-7 alkyl.</p> |
