Displacement mechanism for focal plane shutter comprises cables (7a, 7b, 17a, 17b) and pulleys (10a, 10b, 20a, 20b) for moving the blinds, (6, 9) with the pulleys for one blind mounted coaxially with the winding shaft (5, 15) of the other blind. Each pulley is provided with lockable flanges (16, 22, 23, 26) on both sides only in the section in which the respective cable rests on the pulley. Pref. both flanges project from the respective pulley in corresponding directions, and each pulley has a lockable shaft (11) integrally joined to one of the two flanges. Pref. each flange (22, 23) is rotatable relative to the respective winding shaft and provided near its outer end with clamping means for attachment to the camera body in a given position.
