<p>The slide valve has a valve housing, a spindle, a wedge-shaped slide and appropriately shaped seating surfaces for the slide. The plate parts (10, 11) of the wedge slide (7), apart from metal sealing parts (16-19) have a soft seal (12, 13) running round the throughflow aperture. These soft seals (12, 13) are top hat section rings, there being one to each plate part (10, 11), and at least on one side of the ring. A metal sealing ring (16-19) connects to the arm of the top hat section sealing ring. The plate parts (10, 11) of the wedge slide (7) can tilt in all directions on the spindle (3). The spindle (3) has spherical calotte shaped face surfaces (23, 24) on side projections (21, 22) which engage in recesses (25, 26) of the plate parts (10, 11).</p> |
