<p>The secondary storage battery voltage monitoring unit is provided with commercial type switches that enable the battery to be tested under load by untrained personnel without endangering the battery. Thus, a series circuit consisting of a large capacitor (approx. 10uF) and an optical indicator unit is connected in parallel with the input to the load (consumer).
