<p>Ambulance for new-born babies has a dust-tight, climatised treatment compartment (2) isolated from the cab (1). The front is a table for an incubator (8), over which is wall-mounted monitoring and supply equipment (6). Seats (12, 13) are disposed behind the table and air and oxygen pressure cylinders (18, 19) are removably secured behind the seats, for supplying the incubator. The monitoring means (6) includes an ECG and digital displays of heart rate, breathing rate and body temperature. The incubator table top is slidable sideways on roller bearings (21) and carrying handles (23) are also provided. The vehicle may further be equipped with a mains-voltage generator.</p> |
