Passenger transit tunnel for airport - has inflatable structure which seals to aircraft and pad acting as contact sensor

The adjustable connecting tunnel is designed for the transfer of passengers such as at air terminals. It has a floor and an awning with flexible supports consisting of deformable tubes which are inflatable. The tunnel end presses and seals on the aircraft. The floor has a pad, also inflated and this acts as a detector of contact with the aircraft. When pressure is released from the tunnel assembly, a return mechanism restores it to an out of use position.
