To prepare sulphonamides of formula <IMAGE> where R', R'' and R''' are saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched alkyl residues containing from 1 to 18 carbon atoms, it being possible for two or three of the residues R', R'' and R''' to be identical, a sulphonic acid halide R'-SO2-X is reacted in an aqueous phase with a primary amine <IMAGE> to obtain a sulphonamide <IMAGE> and then, still in an aqueous phase and without isolating this sulphonamide, it is reacted with a compound containing an alkyl residue R'''. The sulphonamides obtained can be applied to the separation of diene or aromatic hydrocarbons from the hydrocarbon cuts in which they are present. |
