PURPOSE:To effectively cool a linear motor without forcible ventilation or the like by providing a thermoelectric element between the primary side stator and a heat sink unit of the motor and cooling the primary side stator by utilizing Peltier effect. CONSTITUTION:The primary coil unit 2 is provided inside the primary side stator 1 of a cylindrical linear motor which has a linear vibration actuator stator unit at the center, and a plurality of thermoelectric element pair group (thermo modules) 3 are mounted at an equal interval on the outside in a direction perpendicular to the paper surface. The thermoelectric element pair group 3 is composed, for example, by alternately connecting a plurality of N type and P type thermoelectric elements 4 such as bismuth telluride or the like in series via copper electrodes 5, and bonding them to aluminum substrates 6, 7, with a heat sink fin 71. A plurality of suitable temperature detectors 9 are provided on the outer periphery of the stator 1. In this manner, effetive cooling can be performed when the forcible ventilation is not preferable. |
