PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a recessed part from occurring in storage of an air bag by providing a single notch thinner than the thickness of a cleavage groove which cleaves by receiving expansion force of the air bag at a cleavage start requiring position. SOLUTION: A thin part 13 which is formed in the substantially H-shape on the front surface of an air bag storage cover 12, and a substantially H-shaped cleavage groove 14 corresponding to the thin part 13 is formed on the back side of the front surface of the air bag storage cover 12. Thickness R of the air bag storage cover 12 is formed thinly by the cleavage groove 14 and the thin part 13, one notch (recessed part) 15 is formed in the central part of the substantially H-shaped cleavage groove 14 for decreasing the thickness of the part than thickness R of the cleavage groove 14, and the notched part is formed to have thin thickness (r) by this notch 15. Therefore, swelling starting position and swelling direction of an air bag swelling from the air bag storage cover 12 can be adequately controlled. |
