PURPOSE:To provide a titled device which can remove efficiently and surely spatters by disposing a fine flexible bar which can swing and swivel along the inside surface of the nozzle of a welding torch in the space between said nozzle and a contact chip through the guide hole of a guide plate provided in accordance with the inside diameter at the nozzle tip of the welding torch. CONSTITUTION:A torch 1 is positioned to face a guide hole 51 by a program to arrange the torch 1, the hole 51 and a fine bar 9 by aligning the swinging centers thereof at certain point of the time in a robot welding operation. The torch 1 and the bar 9 are approached to each other in this attitude and the bar 9 is intruded between the nozzle 11 and contact chip 12 of the torch 1. The bar 9 is at the same time swung in the annular space between the torch 1 and the chip 12. Then the bar 9 scraps the spatter sticking to the inside surface of the nozzle 11. Te bar 9 in this case is fitted swivelably into the hole 51 by press-fitting and the hole 51 is provided to the size meeting the inside diameter of the nozzle tip. The sure intrusion of the bar 9 into the space between the nozzle 11 and the chip 12 is made possible when the torch 1 approaches the bar 9.
