PURPOSE:To form simultaneously two formed articles and to improve productivity by exerting simultaneously liquid pressure on the blank materials disposed on both sides of a blank holding plate and forming the materials. CONSTITUTION:Crease pressing surfaces are formed on both sides of a blank holding plate 6 and blank materials 16 are disposed thereon. A pair of dies 2, 3 are disposed on both sides thereof in such a way that the respective die surfaces 2a, 3a face each other. One of the dies is fixed and the other is made drivable. The plate 6 is supported via a spring 26 by the die 1 on the stationary side. The above-described materials 16 are pressed to both sides of the plate 6 and the dies are clamped. A liquid is supplied under pressure through a water feed path 20 into the hermetic parts 18 formed by the plates 6 and the materials 16 to form the materials 16. Two formed articles are simultaneously formed by the above- mentioned method, by which productivity is improved.
