PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switched series regulator having a high-speed output voltage regulation, a high overall efficiency, a high power factor and a good dynamic response. SOLUTION: In a switched series regulator, there are provided a power-factor correcting means 3, wherein a first pair of terminals 4, 5 are connected respectively with a second pair of terminals 7, 8 of the input terminals of a converter means 9 and the converter means 9 in which one terminal 10 of a third pair of terminals 10, 11 of its output terminals is connected with one end 12 of a load of the switched series regulator. The other end 13 of the load is so connected with the terminal 8 such that a third voltage V3 applied across the ends 12, 13 of the load is made equal to the sum of a first voltage V1 applied across the first pair of terminals 4, 5 and a second voltage V2 applied across the third pair of terminals 10, 11. |
