PURPOSE:To decrease crosstalk by applying tracking to a ridge of a V-slot formed while being cut together by a V-shaped stylus so that the midpoint of two laser spots goes along the ridge. CONSTITUTION:Two laser spots 1, 2 are projected simultaneously to two adjacent V-shaped slots of an optical disk formed based on a master disk being the result of a metallic disk cut by a stylus whose tip is V-shaped and having the V-shaped slot in the radial cross section to recording/reproducing information. The tracking is applied so that the midpoint of the two laser spots 1, 2 comes along the ridge of the V-slot formed by cutting overlappingly by the V-shaped stylus in the case of cutting, different from the ridge of the V-slot formed by the tip of the V-shaped stylus, that is, so that the center position 3 of the tracking spot comes along the center position of the recording/ reproducing spots 1, 2. The center of the tracking to the ridge of the V-slot cut overlappingly is determined and made stable. The crosstalk is decreased even when a signal is recorded/reproduced to/from two adjacent slopes. |
