PURPOSE:To make a seedling transplanter of small size and light weight with reduced power loss of the engine, by electrically wiring the electric heater for fusing the multi-layered film spread on the field to open the transplanting holes so that the heater is not heated, when the engine revolves lower than a certain rotation number. CONSTITUTION:The alternator 43 is driven only when the driving shaft of the engine 14 rotates over a certain rpm, in other words only when the throttle valve 38 is on the working speed position, but it is not driven in a low rpm region. The main switch 41 is turned on and the transplanting clutch lever 45 is engaged to the clutch, thus the rotary arm 31 is rotate to reciprocate the top end of the cutter 34 vertically and the cutter cuts the multi-layered film at the positions for the seedlings to be transplanted and forms a hole on the soil for transplanting. At this time, the cutter 34 is heated with the electric heater and can steadily and clearly cut the multi-playered film.
