<p>PURPOSE:To increase the speed of picking work by measuring the total weight of a container discharged at the terminal end portion of transport means to be compared with the previously calculated a total weight of orders received of every destination and to judge whether picking is correct or not. CONSTITUTION:A container (a) is transported by a container transport means 1. In a picking zone 2, goods for every destination are accumulated to be collected in the container (a). The total weight of the container (a) discharged from the terminal end 1b of the transport means 1 is measured by a total weight measuring device 6. The total weight is transferred to a label printer 8, and a net collected goods weight is calculated by subtracting the weight of the container (a) from the total weight. On the other hand, a host computer obtains the total weight of orders received from single weight and number and sends the same to the label printer 8. The label printer 8 compares the net collected goods weight with the total weight of orders received, and if collection of goods is correct, a label is issued. Thus, the speed of picking work can be improved.</p> |
