发明名称 LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY ELEMENT
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable high-quality display without having unequal colors, etc., by providing two layers of liquid crystal layers sandwiched by electrodes between a pair of polarizing plates and constituting a liquid crystal display element by using the oriented films of a ferroelectric high-polymer liquid crystal as said liquid crystal layers. CONSTITUTION:The 1st liquid crystal layer 13 is formed from above the 1st electrode 12 on the surface of a substrate 11 and the oriented film formed of the ferroelectric high-polymer liquid crystal is used for the 1st liquid crystal layer 13. A 2nd laminate 10b having the lamination structure similar to the lamination structure of a 1st laminate 10A is brought into tight contact with the surface of the 1st laminate 10A in a reverse direction with the intermediate electrode 14 in-between. The 2nd laminate 10B is formed by forming the 2nd electrode 16 similar to the 1st electrode 12 on the surface like the 1st laminate 10A and further laminating the 2nd liquid crystal layer 15 similar to the 1st liquid crystal layer 13 thereon. A high contrast is thereby obtd. and generation of a hue change and bleeding, etc., in the display is prevented. High visibility by the extremely sharp display is thus obtd.
