发明名称 MULTI-ELEMENT RADIATION DETECTOR
摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the formation of an artifact in a CT reproduced image by equalizing the sum of the thicknesses of separator plates in an element block to the sum of thicknesses of mutual contacting separator plates of two adjacent element blocks. CONSTITUTION:Scintillator elements 202 and separator plates 203 (thickness t0) are arrayed alternately, separator plates 101 and 102 of thickness t0/2 are arrayed on the outermost sides, and they are coupled and fixed with an adhesive to form an element block. Element blocks are mounted on the multi-element photoelectric converting element 206 and then packaged in a container. The total t3+t4 of the thicknesses t3 and t4 of the plates 101 and 102 and the thickness t0 of the plate 203 are so adjusted within accuracy of, for example, 5mum so that the quantity of crosstalk due to scattered X rays has no significant error. Those plates use W, Ta, Mo, etc. Further, the separator plates are present at both end parts of each element blocks, so there is no gap formed between a separator plate and a scintillator element when the block is put in the container, so a scintillator element at an end part and an adjacent scintillator element has no difference in characteristics.
