The invention relates to a safety device for a lock, the movable piece 1 being immobilised relative to the stator 2 by locking members, such as pistons 3-5 or tumblers, of which the bringing into tangential contact with the periphery of the movable piece 1 by means of a coded key 6 provided with indentations, each cooperating with a locking member 3-5, releases the movable piece 1 relative to the stator 2. According to the invention, the lock comprises at least one blocking pin 7 sliding partially in a non-radial bore 10 of the stator 2, the head 12 of the said blocking pin 7 being returned by a spring 13 into contact with the periphery of the rotor 1 and being in a radial plane passing through a locking member 3-5 of the lock and the head 12 of the pin 7 is offset in the direction of movement of the movable piece 1 in relation to the position of rest of the corresponding locking member 3-5. <IMAGE>
