The volume used in a romote controller equips a rotary knob providing the digital code corresponding to the knob position. The volume comprises an encoder (10) encoding the input signal, an A/D converter (30) converting the position value of an analog volume (20) to the digtal value, a first buffer (40) buffering the output of the converter, a microprocessor (50) processing the program, a second buffer (60) buffering the output of the microprocessor, and AND gate (70) providing a logical selection signal, a low pass filter (100) converting the volume control signal of the microprocessor to DC signal, and a voice lever control circuit (200) having an OP amplifier (OP1).
