<p>Process making it possible to cut whole plant stems to obtain cuttings. It is characterised in that it consists: - in displacing the entire length of the plant stem (14) in front of a shape-detection system (5); - in producing, simultaneously with the displacement of the stem, pulses which make it possible to determine the minimum dimension of the cutting; - in detecting the presence of buds or bumps (2) by means of the said shape-detection system (5); - in proceeding with cutting. <IMAGE></p> |
