The flexible mattress-base for stationary and mobile recliners has supports (2) consisting of a reinforced, angled, flexible horizontal slat each fitting alongside each other and spaced apart in a frame (1). The ends of the support-pieces fit into a frame section and rest on sprung pieces (5) near holders. The sprung pieces fit into recesses at one end near the angular, top-opening incisions (3) in the lengthwise frame part (1'). The other ends of the sprung pieces fit into holes (6) in the vertical ends of the support-pieces. USE/ADVANTAGE - The recliner's flexible mattress base has springs which individually match the user's body shape.
