The moisture-absorptivity and permeability, etc., can be further improved by adding superfine powder of a water-soluble substance (preferably water-soluble gelatin, etc.) to the kneaded composition, kneading the mixture, spinning the composition and removing the water-soluble substance from the spun fiber by washing with water to form a number of through holes.
