PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of a display position by executing the speed detection of a moving body by using an output of each display device unit having a sensor for detecting the arrival of the moving body and an output of the sensor of the adjacent display device of the arrival direction side of the moving body. CONSTITUTION:When the front edge of the head vehicle of a train passes through a sensor part of an (N-1)-th display device, a sensor signal is turned on and inputted as an external sensor signal to a judging circuit 23 of an N-th display device. By a rise edge of the external sensor signal, the circuit 23 starts time counting. Subsequently, when the train passes through the display device of an N-th display device, its sensor signal is turned on, and inputted as an internal sensor signal to the circuit 23. By a rise edge of the sensor signal, the circuit 23 finishes the time counting, and a speed of the train is calculated by the time and an inter device distance. Subsequently, the circuit 23 gives speed information and a start trigger to a data generating part. From the data generating part, screen data DDAT is read out one after another, sent to a display part by synchronizing with a shift clock DSCK, and a latch clock DLCK is sent once per one line.
